2016 Show Announced

LADOS is proud to announce that their 2016 production is the Local Amateur Premiere of The Witches of Eastwick

Book & Lyrics by John Dempsey
Based on the novel by John Updike and the Warner Bros. Motion Picture
Music by Dana P. Rowe
New orchestrations by Chris Egan and Christopher Jahnke
Original orchestrations by William David Brohn
Originally produced on the London stage by Cameron Mackintosh

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with JOSEF WEINBERGER LIMITED on behalf of MUSIC THEATRE INTERNATIONAL and CAMERON MACKINTOSH LTD.

In the tiny New England town of Eastwick, Rhode Island, three modern day witches innocently plot and conjure over a heady brew of weak martinis and peanut butter brownies. But when their longings are made flesh in the arrival of one Darryl Van Horne, all Hell breaks loose. Quite literally.

Dana Rowe and John Dempsey's stage musical of the smash hit movie was originally produced at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and Prince of Wales Theatre by Cameron Mackintosh during 2000 and 2001. The show was re-written for a successful UK tour which starred Marti Pellow.

Showing at the Grand Theatre, Lancaster, from Tuesday 3rd May to Saturday 7th May 2016 at 7.30pm, Saturday Matinee at 2.30pm
